Hi, not sure what you mean. Open Blender go to File > User Preferences > Select the “File” tab at the top and there should be a checkmark box labeled “Load UI” this should not be checkmarked by default in Sensei Format. If it is checkmarked, you’ll want to uncheck it and click “Save User Settings” in the bottom left hand corner of the User Preferences window.

If this is indeed already unchecked, then something weird may be going on. Could you send me a link to the page of the Blendswap model you’re using so I can try it out? What is it that’s different in the Blend Swap file from your regular Sensei Format?

Also, another way around this would be to open Blender and then append the assets you want from the Blend Swap file. You do this by going to File > Append > then navigate to the Blend Swap file on your computer, click on it and select (or shift select to append multiple things) the items you want and then append them.
