      Sensei,
I’m still having issues with Blender Crashing, this happens when trying view materials or Rendering. I’ve been following your tutorials on Alchemy I’ve gone through the Alchemy Material Library Basics several times and looked in a few others trying to find the answer.
I hate bugging people, but I don’t know what I’m looking at in the errors here.

I opened the console and found these errors:
      Read new prefs: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.78\config\userpref.blend
      found bundled python: C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.78\python
      version 3 imported
      archimesh: Imported multifiles

==================Sensei Format and Blender up to date!
      (already checked for updates today)

      Read new prefs: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.78\config\userpref.blend
      fake_module: addon missing ‘bl_info’ gives bad performance!: ‘C:\\Program Files\\Blender Foundation\\Blender\\2.78\\scripts\\addons\\save_categories.py’
      fake_module: addon missing ‘bl_info’ gives bad performance!: ‘C:\\Program Files\\Blender Foundation\\Blender\\2.78\\scripts\\addons\\sendmat.py’
      fake_module: addon missing ‘bl_info’ gives bad performance!: ‘C:\\Users\\Owner\\AppData\\Roaming\\Blender Foundation\\Blender\\2.78\\scripts\\addons\\main_brush.py’
trying to save homefile at C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.78\config\startup.blend ok

Just to see what was going on I opened each one and got the following:

      save_categories.py
      Read new prefs: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.78\config\userpref.blend
      found bundled python: C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.78\python
      version 3 imported
      archimesh: Imported multifiles
Error: File format is not supported in file ‘C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.78\scripts\addons\save_categories.py’
… opened default scene instead; saving will write to C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.78\scripts\addons\save_categories.py

==================Sensei Format and Blender up to date!
      (already checked for updates today)

      sendmat.py:
      Read new prefs: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.78\config\userpref.blend
      found bundled python: C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.78\python
      version 3 imported
      archimesh: Imported multifiles
Error: File format is not supported in file ‘C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.78\scripts\addons\sendmat.py’

==================Sensei Format and Blender up to date!
      (already checked for updates today)

main_brush.py I did not find this in my files.

Hi. Sorry you’re having trouble. The very first code item you post tells us that “Archimesh” is changing the standard Python library used in your download of Blender: Normal installs of Blender will not have this “python
version 3 imported” found in the console. This means Archimesh is messing with default Blender things which can cause trouble for other 3rd party addons.

Additionally, everyone of the errors you post after that, are related to files that do not exist in, nor are they generated from, Alchemy or anything related to Sensei Format:

      Foundation\\Blender\\2.78\\scripts\\addons\\save_categories.py’
      fake_module: addon missing ‘bl_info’ gives bad performance!: ‘C:\\Program Files\\Blender Foundation\\Blender\\2.78\\scripts\\addons\\sendmat.py’

“save_categories.py” and “sendmat.py” are files from a different Blender material library addon, that you must have recently installed. Alchemy, nor any part of Sensei Format, uses these files.

      fake_module: addon missing ‘bl_info’ gives bad performance!: ‘C:\\Users\\Owner\\AppData\\Roaming\\Blender Foundation\\Blender\\2.78\\scripts\\addons\\main_brush.py’

As for “main_brush.py” I have no clue what this is from either. No doubt, some other thing you’ve installed. There’s nothing I can do to help you when you’re having issues with other 3rd party addons not related to Blender Forums or standard Blender items. I would recommend, deactivating or uninstalling these 3rd party addons first, before assuming you’re having some issue with Alchemy or Sensei Format.

ok I removed those files, and deactivated Archmesh, however when I pressed the button under Clean Materials: Names, I now have 2 different libraries that are the exact duplicate of the Alchemy Base Pack, the only difference is I’d saved 4 materials as a Raised AE and they remained.
Blender isn’t crashing on me now that I’ve removed those files, I will try again. Thank you for responding.
