So my quistion is if I can use Hard ops, to make the high poly mesh, and (maybe if possible use zero brush to sculpt while using hard-ops for harder and more exact edges) but anyway I was PRIMARILY wandering if I could use Hard Ops to make the high poly model for like a building, but scultping won’t do as I need harder edges and to be precise so I have to use Hard-ops, and then I want to use the system from Zero brush, to bake normal maps/and other maps over it, what other tools from Zerobrush would work, and wouldn’t if they would at all, also from the tutorials, is there a auto alignment system in zero brush, for the high poly and low poly models, that allignhs/scales them correctly, and then if so could i use that with hard-ops

All in all I’m wandering if I can in a way “import” a high poly, and low-poly model, into zero brush, and then be able to edit the high-poly with Zero brushes tools, and bake it into the low-poly model with Zero-brush as you normally would

      Hi SKbFLy.
I wrote a long “estimated guess answer” as i own HOps but only tried the ZB Diet.. but said.. f*ck.. and ordered the full version of ZB.. It has some really neat and fast tools i’m sure is well worth the low cost of the add-on.. ( compared to what you save in workload to do these things manually)
I’ll try to get back at you with answers.. In advance i would most certainly be able to say “yes” to all questions that would normally work with tese tools separately.. combining these add-ons in a way that normally would not be possible feels like an already known answer to.

      Cheers..

      Hi again SKBFly

Long story short. As i see it, and after some hours with ZB: It’s “just” a very refined tool of what Blender provides out of the box so i don’t see why you shouldn’t be able to import whatever you like. As long as Blender can read the format and the mesh is editable, ZB can make whatever you like to happen. ( except perhaps brew coffe)

Switching dynamically between the two modes i.e using HOps in object mode and switch to sculpt didn’t work as the HOps modifiers is removed visually and also the effect.. so it didn’t seem to make any sense if you can’t see what is changed.. You might rethink the workflow in that case.. applying the effect and switch between the modes was very fast and effortless.. I’d use incremental saves if i had near final models but still wanted to experiment.

I have to read up on the baking workflow as it’s mainly because of this and retopo i purchased the full version of ZB..

Post back if i misunderstood the question i’ll see if i can give more input later

      Cheers
