In regular blender in edit mode you can left-click to create a vertex on an the surface underlying object. In Sensei it seems left clicking is the new select, and it simply selects the object underneath. I read the docs and tried a few things that seemed logical but I can’t work out where this function has gone?

In general I’m loving the improvements & im loathe to switch back… but this workflow is something I use a lot so hopefully it’s supported. Thanks for any help!

Left clicking in Blender default, whether in object or edit mode, just moves the 3D cursor. Perhaps you activated an addon previously and forgot about it that does the behaviour you’re talking about? Because that’s not default Blender behaviour. Ctrl-Left clicking will extrude your mesh selection to where your 3D cursor is default in Blender. If no mesh is selected then it will generate a vertex point at the location of the 3D cursor. You can do this by Ctrl-Right clicking in Sensei Format. If you’re talking about something else, I couldn’t find it but I could be wrong.

Ah yes. Love Oliver’s tuts. Yes Ctrl-Right mouse in Sensei Format does the exact same thing.
