Hi Blender Sensei. I posted some feedback about Power Refs on YouTube (same video as linked above; commentator Mixchief). What I was thinking was to have the ability of moving the image planes further away from the modeled object. I don’t know if this is just me, but when I import refs using the “Images as planes” addon, I tend to want them a bit away from the model. I suppose it’s because when I swivel around my object, I don’t want it to be occluded by the refs. I haven’t bought Power Refs yet (likely will), but from my understanding it’s possible to turn refs on/off using the addon, which is nice. However maybe the need to toggle them could be reduced even further if it was possible to just slide a numerical value that represents the planes’ distance from (I guess) the world origin. Perhaps one could also explain the sliding direction by saying they’d move in a negative direction in relation to the direction they’re facing, so to speak. I don’t know, it’s just my personal thought; I’d prefer not having refs in the dead center.

Hi. I moved your reply into its own topic. Hope you don’t mind! I see what you’re saying. There are individual reference adjustments you can make to move them wherever you want on the screen blendersensei.com/docs/power-refs/interface/adjustments by adjusting the X,Y, and Z values. Having a default offset value for everything a user could set before loading would be a nice feature to add though!
